Lindsay & Derrick Married: Maine Maritime Museum Bath, Maine

I am trying very hard to catch up on some much needed blogging! Here is the first of many, and this one is long over due. You saw the first look a while back of the girls on the boat, well here is the full post, and of course its full of some fabulous details!

I love this cake - the clean lines, flowers on top, everything about it! YUM!

Couldn't resist this shot with the rings on the bar napkins. Very cute napkins too "Eat, Drink and be Married." How cute is that?

Ok, this was a total joke. We did not have to force him into the church. But it made for a great shot, and it certainly added a little whimsy to the pre-ceremony festivities!

More time on the boat. The boat had just closed - it was a little after 5, and Brandi and I took the entire wedding party down to the boat, jumped the gate and got on. We had a few minutes to do some formal pictures, but we wanted to get one fun picture of the girls and the guys playing tug of war!! We only had a few seconds before someone came running down from the museum telling us we had to get off the boat!!

Brandi snagged this shot. How great is that?

First dance! I love the black and white, with the glow of the overhead lights. The museum was really a fantastic place for a wedding!

Long Overdue on Posting a Wedding

Brandi and I photographed David and Kymberly's wedding the first weekend in March. I have been very busy recently with work so it's been a long time since I posted a photo shoot. We had a great time with the bride and groom and their family!

Its the little details that count :)

I don't know where I got this idea from, the wedding and reception were in the space where a restaurant use to be, and attached to the restaurant is where the lounge use to be, so there were dark table, and dark leather chairs, I wanted to get some alone time for the bride and groom, I think the shot turned out quite well.

The sun was Beautiful this day - couldn't of asked for a better sunny day. We had to get outside into the sun!

V Day Wedding Posted

It's been a while coming - but it's finally here - our V Day wedding! Dan and Anita were great to work with, it was so nice to spend the day with the. I hope you enjoy the photographs as much as we enjoyed taking them!

CUPCAKES! I love this shot because it looks like the cupcakes are just floating in mid air, but they are not of course!! Cupcakes as cakes are becoming more and more popular. I can't count the number of weddings where the cake was replaced by cupcakes, and these were sooooo good!

Anita's dress was BEA-utiful. The details are great!


Love the lighting in this photo. Very dramatic.

First Dance as Husband and Wife

OK the father daughter dance. I love taking photos of the dances, and every single time I cry during the father daughter dance. Dad usually cries (and in this case it happens too) and the bride cries. It makes me feel very very good when I show the photos to the bride and she begins to cry again.
