Family Session Posted: Dixmont, Maine

What an awesome Family to work with!
We did some fall portraits with them, and it was a very cold day. But they all took off their winter coats and posed and smiled away!
Gotta love daddy's little girl!

Look at those smiles!

LOVE IT!

Ok, I am loving this black and white effect. Love love love, the smiles!

Ok, yes, if you look closely - that is a giant Gabby tattoo on his arm! How great is that?

What a sweet way to end the day!

Thank you Amanda and Brent for letting us spend some time with your family! We had a blast, thanks for braving the cold!!

Olivia: New Ipswich, New Hampshire

This is an epic post.
Baby Olivia.
You saw her in the first look, now we are back for the big post!
Baby Olivia is a special little girl to me, she is the daughter of one of my best friends from high school. In fact her parents' wedding is what got me back into photography and actually photographing weddings!
So naturally I had to do a baby shoot too!!

Look at that little face with the little cheeks!! Love it!!

Gotta love the baby feet! How cute?

Rubbin' the sleepies out!

Look at those cheeks!! You just want to pinch them don't you?

We couldn't have a session without at least one cry!

Love spending time with her. Congratulations Jacquelyn and Kevin. She is beautiful!!

Lindsay & Derrick Married: Maine Maritime Museum Bath, Maine

I am trying very hard to catch up on some much needed blogging! Here is the first of many, and this one is long over due. You saw the first look a while back of the girls on the boat, well here is the full post, and of course its full of some fabulous details!
I love this cake - the clean lines, flowers on top, everything about it! YUM!

Couldn't resist this shot with the rings on the bar napkins. Very cute napkins too "Eat, Drink and be Married." How cute is that?

The hand off.

The look.

The beautiful ladies.

Ok, this was a total joke. We did not have to force him into the church. But it made for a great shot, and it certainly added a little whimsy to the pre-ceremony festivities!

More time on the boat. The boat had just closed - it was a little after 5, and Brandi and I took the entire wedding party down to the boat, jumped the gate and got on. We had a few minutes to do some formal pictures, but we wanted to get one fun picture of the girls and the guys playing tug of war!! We only had a few seconds before someone came running down from the museum telling us we had to get off the boat!!

Brandi snagged this shot. How great is that?

Let them eat cake!
Love the look she is giving him.
He was good about it too --- she never got cake smashed in her face!
He was not so fortunate!

First dance! I love the black and white, with the glow of the overhead lights. The museum was really a fantastic place for a wedding!

Hope you enjoyed a much over due post of a very beautiful wedding! Congratulations Derrick and Lindsay. Thank you for letting us be a part of your day!!

Family Session Posted

We always have a great time with this family! You may recognize Shannon and Kevin and Baby Landon from their photo shoots a few months ago. We were invited back to photograph their whole family!
The night before we had the photo shoot we had heavy rains and the power was out for most of the towns, well, Shannon and Kevin didn't have power at all when we came to do their session first thing in the morning - good thing we always bring batteries with us!!
Landon has gotten so big since the last time we photographed him!

Three Generations!

These two go down in my favorite category! I can not believe how fascinated Landon was with the books, his facial expressions were priceless.

The toes were even going! Flexing and curling - so cute!

Nice group shot including Montana the dog!

LOVE this one too!! How cute is that?

I think hes giving me the "What's up?" face - I can't get enough of this little guys facial expressions!!
Thank you all for letting us be part of your family for a couple of hours!

Just wanted to remind everyone reading out there, we still have many weekends open for family portraits - they will make great additions to Christmas cards this winter...but we are not at winter yet....and I am not wishing it was here either!!

Jasie & Allen - A Beautiful Beach Wedding

What a beautiful wedding! We are so glad to have been a part of it. I am also very happy to finally get the opportunity to share the photos with everyone! Brandi and I have been super busy recently - with work work and a little vacation too!! We are back though and getting back into the swing of things! Anyway here is Jasie and Allen's wedding! (you may recognize a few people from a family anniversary session we did last year!)
Brandi's signature bouquet shot - she does such a great job!
Beautiful table scape

RINGS!! Love this. The bride and groom had a very beachy - driftwood - sea glass theme... couldn't resist!

Did I mention the wedding was at the beach? Anyone from this area may recognize the location as Sandy Point Beach in Stockton Springs. What a fantastic location for a small intimate beach wedding! The march down the isle was accompanied by a violinist. I love the violin. So great!!

Reciting of the vows.

They just love to kiss each other! So nice!!

Jasie and her dad before the ceremony.

LOVE THIS!! You may be seeing this as our next canvas print in the office!! (wink wink)

Absolutely love this location!!

So Cute!! Absolutely love the beach wedding!!

Are you seeing a pattern with the kissing?

Such a great portrait of the couple, they are so great!
Allen and Jasie - Thank you so much for letting Brandi and I photograph your beautiful wedding! It was so great to work with you both again and we wish you the best of luck with everything!!

Life is not a race, but indeed a journey. Be honest. Work hard. Be choosy. Say 'Thank you', 'I love you', and 'Great job' to someone each day. Let your handshake mean more than pen and paper. Dreaming does matter. It allows you to become that which you aspire to. Appreciate the little things in life and enjoy them. Some of the best things really are free. Take time for yourself - plan for longivity.
