Family Shoot Posted: Lincolnville Maine

You saw the first look a few weeks ago - well now it's my pleasure to release the whole shoot!!
I am just so happy that I got to meet Elizabeth finally - and her entire family - what a treat!!
Here is my old friend....LENS FLARE!!! LOVE IT!! I haven't had it for a while, but I just couldn't resist - and I love them.

Loving the technique on this.....short term memory loss means I can't remember how I achieved it.....

Let's call this the children of the corn pose....I didn't come up with it, Elizabeth said it as I explained the pose. Actually it's not corn either....its WINE...well pre-wine...AKA GRAPES

Gotta love the kiddos - Annalise, Rachel and Riley!

I loved this pose, until as the kids were leaving the shed - Rachel was stung by a bee --- my first photoshoot injury!
She was a trooper though, and kept on posing.

These two were 100% Elizabeth - I loved her personality - she was so great to work with.
Did I mention that these photos were taken at Cellerdoor Winery? www.mainewine.com Let me know if you ever want to schedule a session there - they are great - and the wine is FANTASTIC too!!

Hope you all enjoyed the photo shoot!! I know I did - Thanks again Mark, Elizabeth, Rachel, Annalise and Riley!!

Family Experience Posted

As I mentioned in the first look, it took a while for us to get together with this family, but I am so glad we did, the weather was perfect and the photos came out great!! Hope You enjoy some of my favorites!

Lily is such a cutie-pie!

I am a big fan of the walking away shots...don't know why.

This one was a little different - going back to my "Urban" photos. The kids were good sports all day!!

My future's so bright....I gotta wear shades. (You knew I was going to bring out that cheesy line)

Onto the footbridge! Lily is very active. She didn't want to stand with the rest of the family!

We wrapped up the day with a trip to DQ. I have to say, most of the time I make it a rule not to photograph anyone while they are eating....except for kids!! Lily was covered in ice cream, her face, her dress, the table, the ground. Very cute though!
Again, hope you enjoyed the photo shoot, I know I did!!

Newborn Session: Baby Amelia

I have been a blog slacker....big time! I am very pleased to finally publish this photo shoot that we did at the end of June. You saw the first look of her, well now here is the real deal: Announcing Amelia!
Look at that little hand!
Love it!

Look at the cute little outfit! So great! She was very expressive through the whole shoot.

OK, we brought the bucket back out. This one is a little different - and in this shot, we were still getting situated...and she was NOT liking it.

Get a little food in her, and she is a happy sleeping camper...even in the bucket!

Love this one, so freakin cute!!

With all the babies we have photographed this past year...Amelia is our very first girl! It was nice to get to use all the pink and purple props that we bought for baby Amelia. Congratulations Amy and Dave, she is beautiful!

Beautiful Wedding: Ross & Rhonda

It was so nice to photograph this wedding, the couple was great, the family was great, the location was great, and...personally I think the photos were great!
Rings on a tree, rings on your fingers...they both will be there forever.
This shot is Brandi's signature, she loves the bouquet. Who wouldn't? I love the contrast of the softness of the flowers and the hardness of the rocks!

How cute was this? These are the Bride's nieces Kennedy and Olivia. Olivia got a little excited about throwing the flowers. They made terrific flower girls!

Rhonda's sons gave her away!

Rhonda and her mom. LOVE IT.

I mentioned a beautiful location didn't I?

LOVE this shot!

ANNNNND This one too.

This is another one of Brandi's - she is the MASTER of the reception. She has the best cutting the cake shots - don't know how she does it, but she does!

What a great couple. I just can't get enough of them. You can just feel the love they have for each other.

Thank you Ross and Rhonda for letting us share the day with you and your family!

I Love the Coast Guard....and their Families!

If you follow me on Facebook you will know I posted something about editing a once in a lifetime shoot....well this is it! How often do you get to go into a lighthouse...that isn't open to the public?
Well we did, and this is the photo shoot.
The family was Chelsea, her husband Jason, their son Ivan, and Chelsea's dad Ivan who was visiting from Washington State.

Not even Mainer gets to do this. The lighthouse is run by the Coast Guard, and a Coast Guard family live right at the lighthouse and since we had connections (Jason is in the Coast Guard) we got the grand tour! Not many people get to stand on that balcony...(i did).

What an AWESOME family!

And they are in love....and I love love love this picture!

What a beautiful place, and a beautiful location.

Can you NOT feel the love - I sure can, Love this shot!

Every place you looked there was a view!

Such a great shot. Owl's Head has a beach we went to after the lighthouse, Jason and Ivan (little Ivan) practiced their rock skipping, it was so nice to see Ivan try to mimic his dad, while Chelsea and her dad looked on.

Chelsea and her dad...AWESOME!

Thank you Chelsea, Jason, Ivan and Ivan for letting us photograph your great family!

Life is not a race, but indeed a journey. Be honest. Work hard. Be choosy. Say 'Thank you', 'I love you', and 'Great job' to someone each day. Let your handshake mean more than pen and paper. Dreaming does matter. It allows you to become that which you aspire to. Appreciate the little things in life and enjoy them. Some of the best things really are free. Take time for yourself - plan for longivity.
