Christmas Blog!

Its hard to believe its only 3 days until Christmas! I also can not believe that I waited so long to share a photo of our Christmas tree with you! I love our Christmas tree, its so nice to decorate it every year and add a new ornament every single year. This year we have had so much to be thankful for. Its so strange to be getting ready to say goodbye to 2008 and welcoming in 2009 - its coming sooner then you think. This holiday season has been a roller coaster ride to say the least. We are starting our festivities tomorrow by heading to Millinocket to spend 3 days with my parents, then we are turning around and heading back to Bucksport Christmas afternoon to spend the day with each other. Friday we are heading to Brandi's parents place to spend the evening with her family and celebrate Christmas with them.

So starting tomorrow we will be out of the office, I am probably not bringing the laptop with me, and even if I was my parents do not have high speed Internet and I do not have the patience for dial-up. So if you are reading from the Millinocket area and would like to have a photo shoot in the new fallen snow please call my cell phone 207.447.0105 - we would be happy to photograph you!

Also once things have settled down from the holidays I am going to bite the bullet and start up a studio. I am going to try to do something a little different for studio equipment and go "minimalist" so i will not be shooting with super hot photo lights, I'll be using all FLASH. Should be pretty interesting, stay tuned for more blogs about it!

Be safe everyone and have a happy holiday!

Maternity Experience

We had our second maternity experience on Saturday. Shannon and Kevin were so cute! We totally enjoyed our time with them, and we know that their little boy or girl is going to be so cute, we can't wait for the newborn experience session!!
I tried out some new lighting techniques today - I think they came out really well!

Ok - absolutely love this idea - LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

Can't have a maternity experience without the hand hearts!

Looked everywhere for these blocks - totally worth it!

Love this picture!!!

Too Cute!

This was Shannon's request! I will use it again!

Life is not a race, but indeed a journey. Be honest. Work hard. Be choosy. Say 'Thank you', 'I love you', and 'Great job' to someone each day. Let your handshake mean more than pen and paper. Dreaming does matter. It allows you to become that which you aspire to. Appreciate the little things in life and enjoy them. Some of the best things really are free. Take time for yourself - plan for longivity.
