Ryan & Pam's Engagement Session: North Woods Maine

Now that the dishes are done, and the turkey (or ham in my case) is digesting, it's for a blog.
I hope this is a feast for your eyes ---- as much as your Thanksgiving meal was a feast period!
ANYWAY --- you caught them on the first look, now its time to see what our North Woods session was all about.
It was so great to work with this couple. The bride, Pam, and I go WAYYYYYY back. I can't even remember how far back. We grew up together, graduated high school together --- wayyyyyyyyyy back. We are so happy to be photographing this wedding ---- its going to be a good one. Back to the pictures, we met up in the home town and took a ride up the river to get some shots. We were hoping for some fall leaves ---- but schedules didn't match up, but we got some great shots!! Hope you enjoy!

The Penobscot River --- LOVE IT. Did I mention it was FREEZING out that day, they were good sports though.

Love the wooded scene, with the green (from the evergreens) and the moss that was still around.

Can't beat an old dead tree to frame your shot with.

More river - Love the shades

Love the lighting --- nice and warm!

Aren't they a great couple?

Love this pose. Love Love Love it.

Classic shot - check out that smile.

And what is a trip up north with out the Mountain? I miss seeing that everyday!

This is going to be a great wedding --- make sure you check out the blog in July to catch the big day! Should be one not to miss!!
Pam & Ryan - Best of luck planning the wedding!!

Life is not a race, but indeed a journey. Be honest. Work hard. Be choosy. Say 'Thank you', 'I love you', and 'Great job' to someone each day. Let your handshake mean more than pen and paper. Dreaming does matter. It allows you to become that which you aspire to. Appreciate the little things in life and enjoy them. Some of the best things really are free. Take time for yourself - plan for longivity.
