Plan for Longevity
These are the words that now hang in our home. Saturday we were jetting around in between photo shoots and I begged Ryan to stop at my favorite little gift shop because they had this fabulous little sign out beside the road, 25% off...everything in the store... well this little lady can't resist a sale and Ryan can't resist me begging so in we went.
We had been searching for words to "hang" on our studio walls since we remodelled early this year. We just couldn't find the right fit, the cherry on the top of our ice cream sundae... and then I saw it on the gift shop walls and knew our search had ended. This little sign embodies everything we strive for in life and in our business so much so that when it came time to hang it up, we didn't hang it in the studio, it hangs at the bottom of our stairs so that every time we walk by we are reminded,
"Life is not a race. But indeed a journey. Be honest. Work hard. Be choosy. Say "thank you," "I love you," and "great job" to some each day. Let your handshake mean more than pen and paper. Dreaming does matter. It allows you to become that which you aspire to. Appreciate the little things in life and enjoy them. Some of the best things really are free. Take time for yourself-plan for longevity."
In conclsuion, I pose the question to you, what is your "motto" for life?
Love this sign and it fits you guys so well! My approach is Don't spend your time waiting for life to happen to you, go out and make life happen.
Great question:)
