FAIR TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So the end of August right through September begins our fair season. Brandi and I try to hit as many of the agricultural fairs as we can in the state. I have to admit when Brandi and I first started dating I was not to keen on the fair scene, but I have to say I am hooked now, and one of my favorite is the Union fair. Here are some pics from our afternoon at the fair.
I spend a lot of time in the chicken isle at the fair, I love the hair on this guy! He reminds me of big bird from sesame street!
Although I will NEVER ride on a Ferris wheel I was very attracted to the Ferris wheel at the fair, I love the shots of the colorful carts and the geometric lines they create!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Germ-x. Enough said.
Pigs are so cute!
Another ride. I don't know what it was - and I will never ride on it. But the colors are great!!
Another chicken - I love the look this one is giving me!
Seriously, I don't know what it was, but they just kept looking at me, and I couldn't help taking a picture of them.

Classic fair symbol!
OMG if you EVER go to a Maine Fair, you need to go to this stand and get the HOMEMADE chicken fingers. Love them, I dream about them all summer.
Brandi's favorites - french fries. I have to admit, I LOVE them too!
Anddddddddddddddd this is where we got the fries!
Don't like cotton candy either, but I like the colors.
Keep watching for the project 365 post, its coming I promise. Plus I have a post from Beth's Farm Stand in Union as well.

I LOVED the chicken photos, and the pigs. I really enjoy stopping by your blog to see what you have been up to.

Are you guys going to the Common Ground Fair?

Keep up the good work.

Love the chickens. There's just something about them...I know. I've got a backyard with a dozen or so of them! You and Brandi should stop by some Thursday after coming to the Rockland Farmer's Market and hang out with them....and say hi to me!

Life is not a race, but indeed a journey. Be honest. Work hard. Be choosy. Say 'Thank you', 'I love you', and 'Great job' to someone each day. Let your handshake mean more than pen and paper. Dreaming does matter. It allows you to become that which you aspire to. Appreciate the little things in life and enjoy them. Some of the best things really are free. Take time for yourself - plan for longivity.
